Happy 2 Months Caden Zane!!!

Cannot believe this little booger is 2 MONTHS OLD! Wow how times flies! He is so much more alert then he was a month ago. He likes to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates (thanks to G), smile, "talk", laugh, and LOVES bring outside! He is sleeping about 6 1/2 hours a night!

Lot's of Updates!!!

Josh is currently on the road. The PGA has started the fall series, and the tournament is in Las Vegas!

                       

  

And thanks to Caden's G (Mandy) this Mama was able to go for 3 days! I was mostly excited to get some sleep! And that I did! I was not so much interested in the gambling, as I was the shopping! A girl could get in major trouble there!

 

 

 

 

My favorite thing we did was going to see Cirque de Soleil Mystere! It was an amazing show! Josh did not like too much because he said it did not have a plot. But, the acrobatics and dancing were amazing. If you ever get the chance make sure to see it!

 

 

 

And this little Guy had a wonderful few days with his G! I think he was spoiled just a little bit!

 

And one more update... we are moving... not to Alabama or South Carolina (sorry grandparents), but we are moving about 45 minutes north, so a little closer to home :)! So if any of you would like to come help pack the next couple of weeks please let me know!







Little Happenings

Caden has tried out and discovered some new things this week.... He is much more alert and is laughing a little bit, and loves playing on his playmat... he has also started to like tummy time, and loves watching Thomas the Train!! He has also learned to stick his tongue out... thanks to his father. And he even did a little grilling this week!

 

Josh has to go to Las Vegas for work this week, so thanks to Caden's G for coming for a few days I am getting to go as well! I think I am more excited about sleeping for 3 nights then anything! Thank you G for coming to stay with Caden!

Fun Week in Auburn

We finally made it back home yesterday!! It was a long drive to say the least... Caden did NOT want to be in his car seat at all!! We had a great week seeing friends and family, and Caden even got to tailgate for the first time, and spent 2 nights in the travel trailor. His G and Pop even came down from South Carolina to see him (and go to the LSU game)! We even had a good time watching the game at the tailgate with Nana, Jessica, Zane, and Bent Bent. Here are a few pictures from the week...

We also got to visit the Clegg's.... Here is B helping feed Caden! It was Matthew and Mrs. Jennifer's birthday so we celebrated with some Gigi's cupcakes...

 

 

And we got in some good time with the little girl!!  Caden loves his Bent Bent... we can't wait to see her again!

 

We are glad to be home. Caden had his shots today, and they went ahead and did is 2 month check up. He handled the shots like a pro... and at 6 weeks he weighed 10lbs 9oz and was 22 3/4 inches long! He has grown so much in just 6 weeks... he is smiling and laughing and trying to copy us while we stick our tounge out at him...he is sleeping about 4 to 5 hours at night  (the pediatrician said he could sleep longer now, and we should let him cry when he wakes up at 3am). We shall see!

 

To hold me accountable my mom, me, and I think Mandy (?) are going to run in the Disney Princess Half Marathon on February 24th! The 22 week training starts next week!! Lord help me... here is the link for more information www.rundisney.com!

 





Happy Birthday PawPaw

Caden and I went with my parent's to have dinner with my dad's side of the family last night! My PawPaw turned 83! What a blessing he is to our family!

Caden and Bent also got in some good playing time! She tries to eat him, and he jsut completely ignores her! He loves his Bent Bent!

This past weekend Caden has some special visitors. Roger and Ginny came to visit on Saturday. I think Mr. Caden was a little spoiled when his Gin Gin held him the whole time!!!

After they left we decided to head up to Auburn. We were suppose to leave Sunday, but I have decided that trying to plan ahead with Josh is impossible. Let's just say he is a spur of the moment kind of person. So we packed up the car and left Tampa at 6:45pm headed to Auburn. Josh is caddying for a friend's wife who plays on the LPGA. The tournament is in Prattville, so Caden and I are up visiting the fam, and going to the Auburn game this weekend. Josh and I also left him for the first time with our parents,and met RJ in Atlanta for the Falcons game.

We will be here till at least Sunday! We are planning on taking Caden to tailgate for the Auburn/LSU game... I am sure I will have lots of pictures of to put up after this weekend!
